A pedal boat with all the comforts of a mini electric catamaran: introducing the Ceclò!
Hire it for 1 hour in Omegna and have fun exploring Lake Orta whilst enjoying the spectacular views and the peaceful, tranquil atmosphere.
What’s more, when you book, you can choose to enhance your tour with an aperitif!
What we will do
The meeting point is on the lakeside promenade in Omegna (VB), where our skipper will hand you the Ceclò and briefly explain how it works.
Once you’re ready, you can set off on your tour of Lake Orta. You’ll glide across the calm, clear waters of the lake in this pedal-boat-like craft, at a cruising speed of 6 km/h. Pedalling will be made easier by the 100% electric motor, and the awning will allow you to enjoy a trip on the lake even on the hottest days.
You’ll admire the lush natural surroundings and the picturesque village of Omegna on the lake’s shores, listening to the sounds of the water in total relaxation. You can also stop for a swim in the lake, thanks to how easy it is to climb back on board.
If you wish, you can also add an aperitif to your booking, consisting of a pre-mixed cocktail and nibbles, to enjoy whilst on the water.
Finally, you’ll return the Ceclò to the starting point. The hire will last a total of 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 4.
The maximum weight is 100 kg per participant.
The vehicle is not accessible to people with mobility problems.
Other information
The Ceclò is available for hire from May to September and can carry between 2 and 4 people.
Dogs are not allowed on board.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; free or paid parking is available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
