Would you like to learn to ride a horse? Join a one-hour riding lesson at a beautiful riding school in Casciana Terme Lari, in the province of Pisa.
The lesson includes an introductory part to become familiar with the ethological mount chosen by the riding school. That is, you will learn to command the horse without tugging on the reins but with delicate movements of the halter. In the second part of the lesson you will focus on posture and different gaits and take a short walk around the ranch.

What we will do
The appointment is at our riding school in Casciana Terme Lari, in the Pisan countryside. Here, staff and horses will be waiting for us for our lesson.
The activity will be divided into an introductory part of 30 minutes and a second, more practical part of about an hour. During the briefing, the instructor will explain the characteristics of the ethological riding chosen by the riding school to respect the animals' welfare as much as possible.
We will thus be able to get in tune with the riding school's particularly tame horses, which not by chance are used for hippotherapy. Not only that, the instructor will tell us how horses live and satisfy our curiosities, for example by explaining why no shoes are used under the hooves.
After breaking the ice with a series of ground games, we will finally get on the horse and begin to work on posture, stance and different gaits. We will also take a short walk around the ranch for about 20 minutes, with the possibility of riding independently for those who feel a little more confident.
For children aged 6 to 8, the lesson will be structured differently, with more time to play and make friends with the horse.
The activity will last an hour and a half in total.
Who it is aimed at
The class is intended for beginners, both adults and children aged 6 and over.
Please note: the required weight limit for the activity is 110 kg. After receiving your booking confirmation, please contact the organisers to inform them of your height and weight, in order to facilitate the allocation of horses.

Activities take place all year round at weekends.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
