Full description
Learn to ride in the enchanting setting of the mountains of Madesimo, in the province of Sondrio.
This 1-hour riding lesson will enable you to learn the basics of riding and familiarise yourself with your horse, all under the watchful eye of an equestrian guide who will follow your every step.
After gaining confidence in the saddle, you will take a short ride in the field to test your skills. It will be a unique thrill!
What we will do
We will meet in Madesimo (SO), at our riding school over 1,700 metres above sea level. As an equestrian guide, I will welcome you to our facility and accompany you to get to know the horse chosen for the lesson.
Once you have put on your helmet and familiarised yourself with the equipment, we will focus on getting you into the saddle. I will show you how to hold a correct body position, which is essential for effective communication with the horse.
Before embarking on a short ride in the field, I will lead you through a series of exercises to improve control of your steed. You will learn how to give commands, stop and start with confidence and precision. All this while getting deeply in tune with the horse and breathing in the fresh mountain air for a deeply rejuvenating experience.
Once you feel comfortable in the saddle, we'll take a tour of the riding arena to put what you've learned into practice.
The lesson will last 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, from the age of 8 and upwards and a maximum weight of 95 kg.
Minors must be accompanied by a parent up to the age of 11. From the age of 12 and up, they can participate on their own with a signed release form.
The class is suitable for beginners, but can also be adapted for experts who wish to improve their technique.

The lesson is available from mid-June to mid-September.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
