We know that Sardinia has the most beautiful sea in the world.... er, in Italy. But have you ever explored its rivers?
Live an unforgettable river trekking experience on the Rio Pitrisconi, at the foot of Monte Nieddu, and discover theSardinian hinterland in a unique and exciting way.
For four and a half hours you will follow your guide among waterfalls and natural pools... until thetypical aperitif!
What we will do
The appointment will take place at the meeting point in Buddittogliu Straulas, a hamlet of San Teodoro (SS), 10 minutes before the selected time. We will be welcomed by our expert guide, ready to lead us to discover the heart of Sardinia!
The experience will begin with a briefing of about 15 minutes, during which the guide will provide us with all the information we need to fully enjoy every moment of the excursion, in complete safety. We will then receive ourequipment and get ready for theadventure!
We will board the 4x4 in the direction of Rio Pitrisconi, which we will reach in about 20 minutes. The walk will begin between natural pools, where the unspoilt beauty of the landscape will give us moments of pure magic.
Along the way we will encounter waterfalls and natural slides, where we can enjoy a dip if we wish. Each stage will be a surprise, with unique rock formations such as the famous tafoni or granite basins, which will add a touch of charm to the wild beauty of this corner of Sardinia.
The guide will explain the history of the mountains that surround the group, recounting local traditions and the secrets hidden in the rocks. Back on board the off-road vehicle, we will be ready to face a 20-minute drive to the last (delightful) part of the experience.
At the end of the excursion, a delicious aperitif of typical Sardinian products awaits us, with sausage, cheese, Carasau bread and Cannonau wine: a fitting conclusion to the adventure we have just experienced!
The initial approach stretch on foot will be about 2 km, while the river trek will take place over a distance of 3 km. The total height difference is about 120 m. The total duration of the experience will be about 4 ½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 6 and in good health.
The activity is not suitable for people with reduced mobility and heart disease.
Children under the age of 18 may participate accompanied.

The activity is available from April to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
