Experience an adventure in the heart of the Pollino National Park and enjoy a river walking route in the Jannello stream, in the company of an environmental guide.
The "Jannello" river walking route will allow you to come into close contact with nature. You will literally walk inside the river and encounter a frothy 7-metre waterfall.
A varied 5 km route, fun and suitable for anyone who wants to discover one of southern Italy's most important rivers up close. We are waiting for you!
What we will do
We will meet at the rafting centre in Laino Borgo, in the province of Cosenza. After an introductory briefing on the route and the handover ofequipment (helmet, life jacket, wetsuit and shoes), we will reach the starting point by shuttle bus.
We will cover a total distance of 5 km along the Jannello stream, overcoming natural obstacles and entering the water without fear but with the spirit of true adventurers! We will pass through small rapids and a roaring 7-metre waterfall.
The entire route will be completely immersed in vegetation and we will have the chance to encounter different species of wild animals for a tour of a thousand surprises!
In total, the activity lasts 3 hours and ends with the return to the base, where we can change and enjoy the equipped area of the rafting centre.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is suitable for everyone from 9 years old and up. No previous experience is required, just being in good health.
Other information
This activity is available from March to October, depending on the weather and the river's hydrometric levels, and is confirmed when there are at least 4 people.
The rafting centre has an area equipped with a swimming pool, camping site, camper van, barbecue and dog area. After booking, you can contact the centre directly for more information on extra services.
Minors must be accompanied or present an authorisation signed by their parents.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
