Control cannot be improvised. And no, it does not come with 'everyday' experience.
This half-day safe driving course at the Autodromo di Castelletto di Branduzzo takes you out of your comfort zone: specially created wet asphalt, rear-wheel drive cars and manoeuvres that test your reflexes and alertness.
You will learn how to handle the car as it slides, in a controlled environment where you can make mistakes and try again without consequences. Because control is not luck: it's training.
What we will do
The appointment is at the Autodromo di Castelletto di Branduzzo at 8 a. m. , with a welcome and breakfast (coffee and croissants) before the official start of the course at 8. 30 a. m.
We start with a clear and accessible theoretical part, where we will address the most common (and underestimated) situations of real driving: loss of rear control, steering and countersteering, instinctive reactions to be corrected and manoeuvres to be learnt to handle with lucidity.
Then it's on to practice. On the circuit and in the pitches - both dry and wet - we will work on car control in corners, braking in corners and managing throttle and grip.
All this on board rear-wheel drive cars, ideal for really understanding what happens when the balance breaks: usually a Mazda MX-5 or a BMW, light, responsive and perfect for learning.
At the end of the course, final debriefing and Certificate of Participation to take home. The experience ends around 12: 30 p. m., for a total of about 4 hours of course time.
Who it is aimed at
The course is open to anyone over the age of 18 with a B licence, including novice drivers. Equivalent foreign driving licences are also accepted.
A weight of less than 120 kg is also required to participate.

The course takes place throughout the year on the dates indicated in the calendar.
The exercises take place on rear-wheel drive cars such as Mazda MX-5 or BMWs, chosen to make the loss of grip more evident and to work effectively on car control. The activity takes place on the circuit with dedicated insurance coverage; a liability release must be signed before the start, as is the practice for track driving experiences.
Accompanying persons are welcome: they have free access to the circuit and can watch the participants' practices from a dedicated area. There is a maximum of 1 accompanying person per participant.
Videos of the experience can be purchased on request, with professional filming via camera car on board. The video service is available at a cost of €30.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
