If we talk about 'red gold', what do you think of?
It is the most precious spice there is: saffron! And with this guided tasting in the province of Fermo, you will taste it in different products, sweet and savoury. You will also taste oil, truffles, and different varieties of honey, including the extremely rare ailanthus.

What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Sant'Elpidio a Mare (FM), where our guide will be waiting for us. We will begin with a 30-minute introduction on the farm, its values and the products it deals with, including truffles and saffron.
Then we will participate in a guided tasting of saffron products (included) such as biscuits, tarts and savoury pies. In addition, we will be able to taste oil and truffles produced by the farm and different varieties of honey, including acacia, chestnut, cherry and the very rare ailanthus. Everything will be accompanied by flavoured water, mead, wine or beer, depending on our preference.
During the months of October and November, we will also have the opportunity to participate in saffron harvesting directly on the farm's land: it will last about 20 minutes and will allow us to discover how to treat the bulbs without damaging them.
Finally, if we wish, we can drop by the farm shop to take home some of these typical flavours.
The activity will last an hour and a half in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The activity is accessible to people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility (excluding the saffron harvesting time) .
Other information
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed when the minimum number of 6 participants is reached. Saffron picking will only be possible during the months of October and November. In all other months, the experience will focus solely on tasting.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
