Full description
Every occasion is good for aboat trip on Lake Garda.
This time on board a sailing boat, driven by our skipper: you will venture out to discover this beautiful natural setting, sailing towards the Garda Islands or Punta San Vigilio. And in the summertime, you can even dive overboard!
The experience will last a total of 3 hours, at the end of which you will struggle to say goodbye to your beloved 'crew'.
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before 14:00 at the meeting point in Torri del Benaco (VR). We will be greeted by the skipper who will welcome us on board his sailboat!
Once all passengers have been boarded, we will set sail to discover Lake Garda with the possibility of actively participating in life on board thanks to the involvement of the skipper. We will head towards the Garda Islands and, depending on the best conditions of the day, we will follow one of the following itineraries: we can head forGarda Island, on which there is a scenic 18th-century villa reminiscent of the more famous Doge's Palace in Venice, which can only be admired from the water; or we can sail to Punta San Vigilio, where there is a luxurious structure that once hosted Charles and Diana of the British royal family!
There will be a panoramic view of Monte Baldo and Monte Pizzoccolo, also known sympathetically as 'Napoleon's Nose'; on particularly clear days,Adamello and Sirmione can also be seen. And in the summer period, at least two swimming stops are also planned during the navigation.
We will finally return to the meeting point at about 17:00. The experience will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit; children under 12 must be accompanied to the embarkation point by an adult. Children aged 0 to 2 years (completed) participate free of charge: please contact the skipper at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to indicate their presence.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The experience takes place from March to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
There is a pay car park in the vicinity of the meeting point. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Depending on availability, theboat could be
- Racing sailboat model Asso 99 9.90 metres long equipped with a shaded area created by the sail (maximum 9 passengers)
- Cruising sail boat equipped with a shaded area created by the sail, swim ladder, toilet, galley (maximum 7 passengers)
You may remain barefoot or wear your own footwear on board the boat; flip-flops are prohibited.
Maximum 1 small-medium sized dog allowed on board; please contact the skipper at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to indicate its presence.
