Full description
Asinara is one of those places you should see at least once in your life. And if you have chosen to spend your holiday in Sardinia, this is the right opportunity!
Take part in our one-day sailing trip departing from Stintino: in the company of our crew, you will sail through the Asinara National Park, exploring it by sea and by land during swim and shore stops.
Lunch will also be served on board, to toast this experience with local liqueurs!
What we will do
The appointment is 20 minutes before 09:30 at the meeting point in Stintino (SS). Thecrew will welcome us on board the sailing boat, with which we will sail the sea of Sardinia!
After boarding, we will be ready to set sail in the Asinara National Park. After about 40 minutes of sailing, we will land in Cala Reale, in the western part of the Asinara Island: the stop ashore will last 1.5 hours and can be spent walking in search of the characteristic white donkey or visiting the Centro Recupero Animali Marini Asinara (CRAMA) inhabited by sea turtles (optional and not included)!
The next stop will be Cala Barche, near which we will anchor for a dip from the boat. At that time, lunch (included) will also be served on board, which includes a first course with shrimp sauce, fruit, wine, water, coffee and local liqueurs.
And here we are ready to head for Cala d'Oliva, which we will reach after about 30 minutes of sailing; the navigation will be led by a tour guide who will describe the area and the attractions we will encounter.
We will land for a 1.5-hour stop ashore during which we can relax in Cala della Murighessa (nicknamed, not surprisingly, dei Detenuti) or visit the island's prison-museum free of charge .
Our last stop will be Cala Blanco, where we will anchor to take our last dive from the boat. We will finally return to the meeting point, after about 8 hours of experience.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits; children under 18 can participate unaccompanied.
Children aged 0 to 2 years participate free of charge, but it is necessary to contact the organiser at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to indicate their presence on board.
The boat is not accessible to people with mobility problems.
Other information
The experience takes place from June to September and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 10 participants.
The itinerary and duration of the experience may vary depending on weather conditions at the captain's discretion.
Theboat is a 15-metre-long sailing vessel equipped with a bar, cushions, awning, shower and toilet. You remain barefoot on board, footwear will be removed upon embarkation. Dogs are not allowed on board.
There is free parking in the vicinity of the meeting point. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
