What good wind brings you to Orbetello? The same one that blows on your desire to learn to sail!
During this sailing course at the Argentario, together with our instructors you will tackle the theory and practice of a fascinating and fun sport and perform your first manoeuvres in total safety.
A different way of spending a day at sea that will open up new horizons for you (literally) !
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before 9: 30 a. m. at the meeting point in Orbetello (GR) . We will be welcomed by the instructors and, after registration at the school and an acquaintance briefing, we will begin the day's sailing.
The groups will consist of students of the same level and the programme will be established according to everyone's needs. We will begin with a theory lesson, in which we will learn the basics of navigation and wind theory, fundamental in all sailing sports.
After that, we will get on the dinghy to begin the practical part with a test of starts, tacking, tacking, jibing and changes of direction. All this and more can be covered during the course, depending on the experience and ability of the group. Groups will be formed according to the level and age of the participants.
The experience will last a total of 8 hours including a 2-hour lunch break.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is open to everyone, aged 4 and up. No previous experience is necessary.
Other information
The activity is available from April to November, weather permitting.
The drift boats used for the activity start from 3 metres in length and are of different types, single or group. The instructor decides which boat to assign to the student, depending on his or her level and age.
Lunch is not included in the price. You can choose to have lunch at the beach restaurant at a reduced price or eat a packed lunch.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
