Approach the world of sailing with a 2, 4 or 6-hour course on Lake Garda, taking advantage of the thermal winds that blow across the lake throughout the day.
An experienced instructor will teach you the main manoeuvres and the basics of sailing. You will learn to know the winds and steer the boat accordingly.
The sailing lesson will take place near Brenzone sul Garda, on the Verona side of the lake. Good wind!
What we will do
We will meet in Brenzone sul Garda, in the province of Verona, at the time selected during the booking process. Here we will be welcomed by the instructors who, after a brief presentation, will begin to explain the basics of sailing.
We will learn to recognise the winds, in particular the two that blow on Lake Garda, namely the Pelèr in the morning and theOra in the afternoon, guaranteeing ideal sailing conditions. The first part of the lesson will take place ashore and, when the instructor deems it is time, we will embark.
We will then be explained the basic techniques and, as we gain confidence, the difficulty of the manoeuvres will increase.
The language used by the skipper will be seafaring to allow us to learn as much as possible about the wonderful world of sailing. We will talk about knots, dinghies and cabin cruisers, learning to recognise the various types of boat and how to distinguish between them.
The duration of the course is variable: when booking you can choose whether to take part in the 2, 4 or 6-hour course. Each lesson is 2 hours, so courses of a longer duration will be spread over several days.
The sailing lesson will end at the meeting point.
Who it is aimed at
The course is aimed at everyone from 8 years of age.
Other information
Courses take place every day from April until the end of September.
When booking, you will be able to choose the day on which the first lesson will take place. In case you buy the 4- or 6-hour packages, you will later agree with the organiser on which other days to complete the course.
Important: up to 3 people can take the course together, but they must all be at the same level of sailing knowledge.
If you would like to conduct the activity at times other than those indicated, please contact the instructor: he/she will try to accommodate your needs. It is important to know, however, that mornings are not an optimal time for sailing, so lessons tend to take place in the afternoons.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
