Full description
Take your first steps into the world of sailing with a one-hour lesson in Riccione.
Together with a certified instructor, you will board a small sailing boat called a 'drift', particularly suitable for those approaching this discipline for the first time. You will learn the basics of sailing, from winds to basic manoeuvres.

What we will do
The meeting is at the beach in Riccione (RN). After introductions, I will take you on board the Tridente 16, a small sailing boat called a 'drift', ideal for those approaching the world of sailing.
We will begin with the first theoretical part, in which I will explain the main notions about this discipline, starting with winds and nomenclature. While sailing, we will continue to look at the technical names and how to distribute weight correctly on board, and then move on to the basic manoeuvres.
In addition to theory, there will be plenty of practice: you will be able to try your hand at operating the rudder yourself and feel like a real captain! I will be at your side to advise you and ensure your safety.
Finally, we will return to the starting point. The lesson lasts 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from the age of 7. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Swimming skills required.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The activity is available from May to September, weather permitting.
Attention! It is necessary to arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time of the activity.
Important: In order to participate in the activity, an FIV membership is required, which is not included in the fee (up to 18 years of age €10, from 19 years of age €15). The membership envisages FIV insurance coverage (issued by the Italian Sailing Federation) for accidents occurring during the activity and for this reason, a valid sports medical certificate (non-competitive) and tax code will be required to be shown upon arrival. The card is valid from the moment of payment until 31 December.
This is anindividual activity, but if you wish it will be possible to share the experience with up to 2 other friends at a reduced rate (45€ instead of 60€).
You will be on board the Trident 16 dinghy, which is 5.30 metres long and 1.92 metres wide.
The meeting point is easily accessible by public transport. Dogs are not allowed on the beach.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
