Expert divers wanted in Riomaggiore: if you have an Open Water licence or higher, this is the experience for you!
Get ready to discover the underwater world that lurks beneath the surface of the Cinque Terre. Dive into zone A of the marine protected area between Punta Montenero, Secca delle Aragoste and Panettone and you will be able to brave the depths from 18 m to 33 m, depending on your level of experience.

What we will do
The appointment is at the diving centre in Riomaggiore (SP), 10 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
An NADD instructor will hand us thediving equipment and give a briefing to explain what we are going to do and see during the dive. Once dressed, we will descend two flights of stairs until we reach the boat moored in the small port of Riomaggiore.
We will take our place on the boat and, after just five minutes of sailing, we will reach our dive site in themarine protected area of the Cinque Terre. The site will be chosen within zone A, an exceptional area offering very different marine environments at various depths, such as Punta Montenero, the Secca delle Aragoste and the Panettone.
The instructor will divide us into pairs according to the licence we hold. Open water divers will be able to go as deep as 18 m, while more experienced divers will be able to go as deep as 33 m to admire fans of blue and white gorgonia or venture into the Secca delle Aragoste .
The dive will last between 45 and 50 minutes, depending on the consumption of the tank. At the end, we will return to Riomaggiore and change at the diving centre.
The activity will last approximately 2.5 hours, including briefing, dressing, diving and transfers.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is intended for divers with an Open Water licence or higher, aged 12 and over.
For minors , a parent's release is mandatory. The maximum diving depth for young divers with a Junior Open Water Diver licence is 12 m; children may dive in pairs with the instructor or a licensed parent.
Other requirements are a healthy constitution, a maximum weight of 120 kg and being able to swim.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women, people with heart problems or over 70 years of age, and people with reduced mobility.
Other information
Diving is available from mid-May to the first week of October, every day.
The transfer takes place in a 7.5 m motor boat, licensed for 12 passengers and 2 crew members, and equipped with a canopy, an ascent beach and emergency equipment.
You can also dive with your own equipment at a discounted cost of 78€. Select the corresponding option in the booking box.
A changing room and locker for storing personal belongings are available at the dive site (there are no showers or toilets, however).
It is not recommended to dive 12 hours before a flight.
It is possible to reach Riomaggiore by train; parking spaces on site are limited.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
