Full description
After your first dive, you won't be able to do without it.
This is what happens to those who choose to take part in our sea baptism in Lerici: in the company of a diving instructor, you will venture down to a depth of 6 metres to discover the seabed of the Ligurian Sea.
A40-minute underwater dive, which will only be the beginning of your new passion!
What we will do
The appointment is at 09:00 at the meeting point in Lerici (SP). We will be welcomed by thediving instructor who will accompany us on our first underwater dive, also known as'sea baptism'!
Having gathered all the participants, a briefing will take place during which we will be given information on clothing, equipment and the course of the experience, such as the finning techniques we will put into practice in the water. We will receive our equipment and wear it as instructed.
And here we are ready for our entry into the water from the shore. During the sea baptism we will be supervised by a diving instructor (every 2 people) who will guide us on our first dive to a maximum depth of 6 metres. In the waters of the Ligurian Sea, one of the best preserved in Italy, you may encounter damselfish, bream, sponges and other species characteristic of Mediterranean fauna!
The divewill last 40 minutes, at the end of which we will return to the meeting point for a debriefing in the company of the instructor. The total experience will last 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied on site by a responsible adult to sign a release form.
Swimming skills are required to participate in the activity.
The experience is prohibited for persons suffering from pulmonary problems, asthma and epilepsy.
Other information
The experience takes place from May to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
On-site parking is available for a fee. The meeting point can be reached by public transport; in the latter case, you are kindly requested to contact the instructor at the contact details given in the e-mail confirming your booking in order to communicate your arrival by public transport.
Changing rooms with toilets, showers and lockers for storing personal items are available on site.
Any accompanying persons can wait at the meeting point, which has beaches and refreshment facilities nearby.
For groups of +8 people, it is possible to carry out the experience at the desired time and day regardless of availability on the calendar; please contact us to submit your request.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund!
