Come to theArgentario and experience an exciting dive for certified divers in the company of an expert SSI instructor.
For 5 hours, forget the mainland and dive into a world waiting to be discovered!
What we will do
The meeting will take place at the diving centre in Porto Santo Stefano (GR), 10 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
We will be welcomed by our SSI instructors, who will guide us to discover the splendid seabed of the Argentario. After dressing and equipping ourselves with tanks, we will set sail on the rubber dinghy to the dive site.
Once there, we will participate in a quick briefing and be ready to begin our 40-minute dive. The site will be chosen according to the level of our licence: the Argentario coastline offers unforgettable ecosystems and panoramas, suitable for every type of experience!
Depending on the licence, therefore, the group will be divided and directed towards different spots, to allow each of us to fully experience our passion for the seabed, always accompanied by an expert instructor.
If we hold an Open Water 1 licence, for example, we will be able to go as deep as 18 metres nearArgentarola, Cala Grande, Scoglio del Corallo, Secca della Maddalena and other wonderful diving spots.
If, on the other hand, we are holders of an advanced licence, we will be able to reach a depth of 40 metres, even exploring the splendid Punta del Bove and Secca del Cristo.
What will we be able to see on the Tuscan seabed? Corals, leopardfish, conger eels, small sharks, lobsters... to be searched for and admired with the help of the expert local divers!
Once the dive is over, we will resume navigation for a maximum of 20 minutes, if we have arrived at the descent points furthest from the shoreline; back at the diving centre, a well-deserved snack awaits us!
The experience lasts a total of about 5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all holders of a diving licence. Children under the age of 18 may participate with a signed waiver or accompanied by a responsible adult.
For the activity to take place, it is necessary to be in a state of good health, have no heart, blood pressure or respiratory problems.
Other information
The activity is available all year round, every day, and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 2 participants.
The boat used to reach the dive site will be a 9-metre long and 2.40-metre wide dinghy, fully covered by a canopy and therefore suitable for all climates and seasons.
There is a storage room at the diving centre where you can leave your personal belongings; hot showers and toilets are also available.
There are no gastronomic alternatives available for people with allergies or intolerances.
Please note! It is not possible to fly 24 hours after the dive.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; free parking is available nearby.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
