For you who love to push yourself to the depths, here is anunderwater dive you will never forget.
Explore the seabed at Capo Figari, one of Golfo Aranci 's most popular diving spots, and dive to discover the rich marine biodiversity of this Sardinian paradise.
A dive reserved for certified divers who love the sea above all else!
What we will do
The appointment is at the diving centre in Golfo Aranci, 15 minutes before the time indicated in the booking.
Here we will meet the instructors who will accompany us during the outing and we will be given thenecessary equipment for the dive. If, however, we prefer to use our own diving equipment, we can do so by selecting the appropriate option.
Once the preparation is complete, we will board an inflatable boat and head to the dive site chosen by the instructors for the day, which will vary depending on the participants' licence and the weather and sea conditions.
The dives usually take place in the Capo Figari area, a beautiful promontory overlooking the sea with sloping seabed, rich in marine life and submerged passages that will make the experience a succession of wonderful encounters.
Depending on the level of our licence, we will be able to dive from a minimum of 12 metres to a maximum of 40 metres deep, to admire madreporic formations, tuna, dentex, groupers, conger eels, barracudas and other sea inhabitants.
The dive will last from 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the consumption of each participant, while the total duration of the activity will be around two hours.
Who it is aimed at
The dive is intended for divers with Scuba Diver, Open Water or higher certification, aged 10 years and over.
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at the diving centre, but may participate in the activity on their own.
Good health, no recent operations and no heart or circulatory diseases are required to participate. It is also recommended not to dive 24 hours before a flight.
Other information
The activity is available all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Dinghies ranging from 7.5 m to 10 m in length, equipped with a climbing ladder and buoyancy aids, are used for the outing. The boats are not equipped with a canopy or shower.
Outdoor showers with hot and cold water and toilets are available at the diving centre. Personal belongings can be left in the care of the staff during the activity.
It is possible to book a dive 'with equipment hire' or 'without equipment': in the former case, a wetsuit, tank, ballast, mask, fins, gav and regulator will be provided. It is also possible to rent a dive computer on site at an extra price of €5.
For those arriving by public transport, the railway station is approximately 1.5 km from the diving centre. On-site parking spaces are available for a fee.
