Shared hot-air balloon flight in the province of Bologna with breakfast or aperitif

Vez, you’ll never guess what I got up to this weekend!

That’s what you’ll say after taking part in our hot-air balloon flight: you’ll watch the balloon being inflated, take your seat in the wicker basket and experience the thrill of flying over the province of Bologna.

And when you land, a delicious breakfast or a tempting aperitif will be waiting for you!

What we will do

We’ll meet 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in the Valsamoggia area (BO). Once there, we’ll meet the pilot who’ll be taking us on this adventure!

On arrival, we’ll watch the spectacle of the balloon being inflated: we’ll admire the hot-air balloon slowly taking shape before our eyes, filling them with colour and wonder. This will be followed by the pre-flight briefing, during which we’ll receive all the information we need to ensure a carefree experience.

And here we are, ready to take our seats in the wicker basket and… take off! Gently, we’ll lift off the ground and fly over the province of Bologna: the view stretches from the Sanctuary of San Luca to the Abbey of Monteveglio, from the hills of Bologna to the Apennines. The flight route varies depending on the best weather conditions, making every flight unique! The hot-air balloon flight lasts approximately 1 hour.

Finally, we’ll land gently at the designated spot, step out of the balloon and board the organiser’s transfer to return to the meeting point. The experience will conclude with the presentation of a flight certificate and a light breakfast or a tasty aperitif at the airfield!

The experience lasts a total of approximately two and a half hours.

Who it is aimed at

This activity is suitable for children aged 6 and over. Children up to the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent who is taking part in the activity.

To take part, you must be at least 120 cm tall and weigh no more than 130 kg. Please note! If you weigh more than 115 kg, a surcharge of 50 per cent of the standard rate applies: please contact us to make a booking request for people weighing more than 115 kg.

The following are not permitted to fly: pregnant women, people with cardiovascular or pulmonary conditions, those suffering from osteoporosis, mental health conditions, or those with prosthetic limbs or mobility issues. It is prohibited to fly whilst under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and anyone who has engaged in diving activities within 24 hours prior to the flight is also prohibited from flying.

Other information

The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed once the minimum number of 4 participants has been reached.

The meeting point, meeting time, route and duration of the flight vary according to the best weather conditions, at the pilot’s discretion.

You are not permitted to bring any items on board, with the exception of photographic equipment and binoculars, provided they are contained in suitable small bags and stowed away before landing.

Smoking is prohibited at the take-off site, the landing site, on board the hot-air balloon and in any of the organisation’s vehicles. The hot-air balloon is fuelled by highly flammable liquid propane.

Dogs and other animals are not permitted.

Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
