Shared hot-air balloon flight in the Monferrato region with tasting

A hot-air balloon flight in the heart of Monferrato surrounded by hills, vineyards, and castles, with a 360-degree view of one of the most beautiful landscapes in Piedmont. Together with other participants, you will climb aboard the wicker basket and let yourself be carried away by the wind for about an hour.

And to finish? An Italian breakfast or an aperitif in a farmhouse to share the emotions of flying.

What we will do

The appointment is at the take-off point in Tonco, in the province of Asti (the precise address will be communicated to us a few days before the experience) .

If we wish, we will be able to watch the balloon inflate as the balloon slowly takes shape before our eyes and the sky is coloured by the first light of dawn: it is the perfect start to something extraordinary.

After a short briefing with the pilot, we climb aboard the wicker basket and begin to ascend. The noise of the burner, the lightness of take-off, the feeling of being off the ground: within seconds we will already be above the hills, carried gently by the wind.

During the flight, which lasts about one hour, we will admire all the beauty of the Monferrato from above: endless vineyards, castles dominating the heights, and picturesque villages nestled among the hills. A spectacle that changes with every glance!

The landing will take place at a point decided by the wind and weather conditions. One of the organisation's vehicles will be waiting for us, ready to take us to a selected farmhouse in the area. There, an Italian breakfast awaits us, with coffee, cappuccino, croissants, or an aperitif with local products (depending on the time selected during the booking process) .

Finally, we will be driven back to the starting point. The whole activity takes about 3 hours, including preparation, flight, transfer and final tasting.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for children from 6 years of age, with a minimum height of 120 cm and a maximum weight of 130 kg.

Children between 6 and 12 years of age may only board accompanied by a parent.

Pregnant women, persons with cardiovascular or pulmonary diseases or suffering from osteoporosis, psychiatric disorders or with prosthetic limbs or walking problemscannot fly. In addition, it is forbidden to fly while under the influence of drugs or alcohol and to anyone who has been diving in the 24 hours preceding the flight.

Other information

The activity takes place all year round at weekends, and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 4 participants (balloon filling).

Important: the flight times indicated in the calendar are approximate and vary depending on the time of year and weather conditions. A few days before the activity, you will receive an email from the organisers confirming the time and address. Always check the email before setting off!

Youare not allowed to bring any items on board, with the exception of camera equipment and binoculars (which must be contained in appropriate bags stowed before landing).

Smoking is prohibited on the take-off and landing field, on the hot air balloon or in any of the organisation's vehicles. The hot air balloon is fuelled with highly flammable liquid propane.
