Full description

Did you know that the Dolomites offer more than 300 ski mountaineering itineraries? A true paradise for all mountain and snow lovers!

Get ready to discover this magical world together with an Alpine Guide born and bred among the Dolomite peaks, with a splendid private ski mountaineering excursion for all levels.

Whether you are a 'seasoned' ski-mountaineer or just taking your first steps into this fascinating discipline, the guide will have theright itinerary for you. All you have to do is get all thenecessary equipment and get ready to go!

What we will do

The meeting with the Alpine Guide will take place at 8:30 a.m. in Cortina d'Ampezzo (BL) and from there we will set off towards the area chosen for the ski-mountaineering excursion, possibly using local transport or ski lifts. The guide will carefully select themost suitable itinerary based on our technical skills and the weather and snow conditions.

Before getting into the swing of things, we will carry out an equipment check and a briefing on the characteristics of the route, progression techniques and what to do in an emergency.

Once ready, we will begin our ascent along the snow-covered slopes, more or less steep depending on our level, but all equally spectacular and full of breathtaking views of the Dolomite ridges.

For those who are beginners and want to approach ski mountaineering in tranquillity, the guide will identify an easy route with arrival at a sunny refuge, where you can relax and enjoy delicious mountain dishes before the descent.

For the more fearless, on the other hand, a more technical and high-adrenaline itinerary will be chosen, where the force of nature and the unpredictability of adventure will dominate.

Throughout the day, the guide will be able to give us the best advice and help us, if necessary, to improve our skiing technique in fresh snow and to learn useful avalanche rescue procedures.

The activity lasts a total of about hours and ends with the return to the meeting point.
