Venture into the Fucecchio Mars hes and discover Italy's largest marshland area with a 3-hour boat trip.
You will board traditional wooden boats, crossing the canals of the marsh and then take short trekking routes in the company of an environmental guide and a real boatman, whose stories will help you discover a magical place.

What we will do
The appointment is at 9.30 a.m. in Ponte Buggianese, in the province of Pistoia, where we will meet the environmental guide and the boatman who will accompany us on theexcursion to the Fucecchio Marshes.
After having a coffee with the boatmen, we will board the typical wooden boat and venture into the protected area of the marsh. We will navigate for about 50 minutes, propelled by the expert boatman's boat.
On the way, we will enjoy the silence of this magical place and the tales of the guide: the area is full of historical events, ranging from the passage of Hannibal to the Second World War.
We will then arrive at the port of the nature reserve, where we will disembark to admire nature in all its splendour. Here we will go into places where the barges cannot go, exploring the area on foot for about an hour. The return is always by boat for another 50 minutes of sailing through the nature reserve.
The activity lasts a total of 3 hours and ends with the return to the starting point, where the boatmen will offer us a snack.

The activity is for everyone, from 5 years old and up. No specific skills are required.

The activity takes place from February to August, also at times other than those indicated. After booking, you can contact the guide to agree on theexact time.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
