Full description
Set out to discover the treasures of the sea with a half-day snorkelling tour along the Argentario coastline. In Porto Ercole (GR) you will embark on a maxi dinghy to explore the area's most beautiful coves and caves and the diving spots most coveted by divers.
You will become familiar with mask, fins, and snorkel to dive into the turquoise waters and swim among schools of colourful fish. On board you can relax with snacks and drinks and spend 3 hours of wonderful escape in the open sea!
What we will do
We will meet at the waterfront in Porto Ercole (GR) about 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Here we will board one of our maxi dinghies, which we will share with the diving participants. After a short navigation, we will stop for our first swim stop at Isolotto and Grotta Azzurra. This is one of the most spectacular dive spots on the Argentario: a cave accessible both from the surface and underwater, characterised by a play of light that gives its waters an intense blue colour.
Other dive spots may vary depending on weather conditions: Cala dei Santi, Cala Piazzoni and Punta Finestra are three perfect spots for snorkelling. After the briefing with the guide on board, we will put on our mask, fins and snorkel and dive on our own to observe the marine species that inhabit the rocky walls below the surface of the water. We will swim amidst clouds of bream, bream and damselfish.
Snacks and drinks await us on board for a refreshing break as we share our exciting discoveries.
The planned duration of the tour is 3 hours, with return to the pier at Porto Ercole by dinghy.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to everyone from 3 years of age. The only requirement is to be able to swim.
Other information
Attention. Participants in the snorkelling activity will share the boat with participants in the diving activity.
The snorkelling tour takes place daily from May until September.
The maxi dinghy is equipped with awning for shelter from the sun, climbing ladder and fridge. Snorkelling kits with mask, snorkel, fins and wetsuit and life jackets are available on board and are included in the price.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
