Full description
Put on your mask, fins and snorkel and join us for a1.5-hour snorkelling experience in one of Sicily's most fascinating places, the Isole dei Ciclopi!
You will swim among the legendary Faraglioni of theMarine Protected Area, among underwater lava formations and colourful fish, while a marine biologist will reveal all the secrets of this hidden paradise.

What we will do
The appointment is at the diving centre in Aci Castello (CT), at the time selected during the booking process.
After being welcomed by the guide and the marine biologist, we will have a briefing of approximately 30 minutes, during which we will discover the fascinating history of the Faraglioni dei Ciclopi and the legends that surround this place.
Once we are ready, we will don mask, snorkel, fins and wetsuit (included) and dive into the turquoise waters surrounding the Faraglioni of the Isole dei Ciclopi.
We will swim among the channels formed by lava eruptions and colourful fish such as sea bream, observing the ecosystem of this Marine Protected Area up close. The marine biologist will teach us to recognise the different species of fish and marine habitats that characterise this place, making the experience educational and engaging.
After about 1 hour, we will return to the surface and relax with a short debriefing to share what we have admired underwater. The activity has a total duration of about 1½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone aged 10 years and over. Children under the age of 18 may participate subject to a signed release form on site from a parent or responsible adult.
Swimming skills are required to participate.
Other information
The activity can be booked from June to October and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
The facility has a refreshment area, WC, shower and changing room for changing at the end of the activity.
Up to 10 participants can dive in the water at a time, with a 1-to-5 ratio with the guide.
