Embark on an exciting snorkelling tour in the Tuscan Archipelago and discover the hidden wonders of the Argentario!
You will embark at Porto Ercole and experience a day of relaxation and discovery in the middle of the sea. You will swim in the crystal-clear waters between the island of Giannutri, the Cetacean Sanctuary and the island of Giglio.
You will be welcomed by the staff on board, with breakfast and lunch included in the experience.
What we will do
The rendezvous is at 8 a.m. on the waterfront at Porto Ercole: here we will embark to begin our day of snorkelling in the Tuscan Archipelago. Departure is scheduled for around 9:00 am.
To welcome us on board we will find coffee, tea, and pastries to enjoy during the navigation. From the sea we will enjoy the spectacle of the Spanish fortresses of Porto Ercole and admire the coves and most scenic spots of the Argentario coastline.
After about 40 minutes of navigation we will reach theisland of Giannutri and the Cetacean Sanctuary, privileged places for dolphin sightings. Witnessing their leaps will be an emotion we will not easily forget!
Once we arrive at the first dive point, we will have a briefing on how to use masks and fins properly and discover what fascinating creatures await us underwater. We will then dive independently to enjoy observing the underwater world.
Sailing to the second mooring point, we will enjoy a fantasy of bruschetta prepared by our staff, as well as sandwiches, fresh fruit and drinks. Then we will dive back into the crystal-clear waters without forgetting our masks and flippers.
To end the tour on a high note, we will enjoy a good lunch on board with three of the captain's first courses (fish, meat, and vegetarian), accompanied by wine, coffee, and Grandma Renata's fantastic cakes.
We will return to Porto Ercole after about 8 hours: a day completely dedicated to the sea and the excitement of snorkelling.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is easy and open to everyone, with no age limit. The only requirement is to be able to swim.
Other information
The snorkelling tour to the islands of Giannutri and Argentario takes place daily from May until September. Please note: the destination and dive spots may vary depending on the marine weather conditions.
The excursion takes place on board a 17-metre boat that can carry up to 25 people, equipped with a sunbathing area, deck area, kitchen, dinette and toilet.
For lunch, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free alternatives are available. To make a request, please contact the organiser after the booking confirmation.
No accompanying persons are allowed on board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
