Setting off from Giardini Naxos, you’ll enjoy a guided snorkelling experience that takes you to the heart of the Isola Bella Marine Park, where you’ll admire the seabed teeming with life in the company of an instructor.
An experience lasting around two and a half hours – the perfect way to soak up the beauty!
What we will do
We’ll meet 10 minutes before the scheduled time at the meeting point in Giardini Naxos, in the province of Messina. We’ll be met by the instructor, who will accompany us throughout the excursion. We’ll have a brief introductory briefing where the stages of the activity will be explained to us, and we’ll get kitted out with the equipment.
We’ll set off on the dinghy and , after a 20-minute boat ride, we’ll reach the Isola Bella area within the Marine Park. Once there, we’ll dive into the crystal-clear waters for about an hour of guided snorkelling. We’ll explore seabeds teeming with life, amongst rocky walls, colourful fish and the area’s typical marine flora.
Once the snorkelling is over, we’ll continue our journey along the coast to view the stunning Blue Grotto directly from the sea. The excursion includes explanations of the numerous archaeological remains from the Greco-Roman period. On the return journey, we’ll be able to relax on board with water, iced tea and biscuits.
We will then return to the starting point, bringing the experience to a close after around 2. 5 hours in total, including sailing and snorkelling.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for everyone aged 4 and over. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
To take part in the activity, you must be comfortable in the water.
This activity is not suitable for people with mobility difficulties.
Other information
The trip takes place from mid-June to the end of August and is confirmed once a minimum of four participants have signed up.
The experience will take place on board a rubber dinghy or motorboat equipped with an awning, sun deck, boarding ladder, on-board music and a fresh-water shower.
Paid parking is available on site. The meeting point is accessible by public transport.
