Let your children take part in one or more snowboarding lessons where they will learn to whizz across the snow on a board.
In the beautiful ski resort of Roccaraso they will discover a fun and exciting sport thanks to expert instructors who will pass on their passion even to the youngest.
Book a single lesson or several lessons on consecutive days. Each lesson runs from 10:00 to 11:50 and the first day is always Monday.
What we will do
The course is held in Roccaraso, the largest ski resort in central Italy. At the beginning of the first lesson, which is always held on Mondays, the instructors will divide children and young people into homogenous groups according to age and level.
The instructors will organise lessons of 2 hours each, so that everyone can become familiar with the board. The techniques taught will depend on the starting level of the group.
Newbies will learn how to stand, slide and stop on the first day. Those who already have previous experience on the board will be able to learn new movements with the help of the instructors and if the group feels confident, they can even start to tackle some slopes.
If you have booked several consecutive lessons, the technique will be refined over the following days and the children will gradually become more and more confident on the snow. Lessons always take place from 10:00 to 11:50.
Who it is aimed at
Lessons are aimed at children and teenagers aged 4 to 15 years of all levels of snowboarding experience.
Teenagers may be included in the adult group if their level allows it.
Other information
When booking, you can select the children's starting level and choose how many lessons (1 to 5) on consecutive days to book. We always start on Mondays, but those who already have good experience with snowboarding can start on another day of the week, depending on availability. Contact us in private, we will do our best to meet your needs.
Lines are often created to rent equipment. The advice, therefore, is to turn up well in advance or rent the equipment in the village before reaching the meeting point.
It is necessary to come to class already equipped with a points card, which can be purchased on the first day at the Pizzalto ticket office.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
