Full description
Have fun driving a snowmobile on aone-hour excursion to Montecampione in Val Camonica.
You'll whizzthrough the snow aboard a gritty motor vehicle, reaching panoramic viewpoints from which to admire the sunset over the surrounding valleys.
You will cross fairytale landscapes covered in white snow, made even more evocative by the orange colours of sunset. Don't miss dinner at the refuge at the end of the experience!
What we will do
The appointment is in Montecampione, in Val Camonica. We will be welcomed by guides who will explain how to use snowmobiles, giving us all the information on how to drive these gritty vehicles.
We will then start our snowmobile excursion. We will move along snow-covered paths, passing by the side of the mountain pastures and crossing two valleys to a vantage point from which we will be able to admire the evening setting over the landscape of Lake Iseo on one side and Lake Garda on the other.
The route will end after about an hour, at the point where we will have started after driving about 12 km. Here an organisation vehicle will be waiting for us, which will take us to the refuge in about half an hour, where we can warm up with a warm and hearty mountain menu.
The total duration of the experience depends on the time spent at the refuge. Consider a commitment of about three hours, but it may vary depending on the length of the dinner.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is simple and suitable for everyone.
Children up to 6 years of age can take part in the tour free of charge as a third passenger, with only the cost of dinner being €15.
There isno age limit to participate as a passenger, but a B licence is required to drive the snowmobile.
Other information
The tour runs from December to April and is confirmed on reaching at least 3 booked snowmobiles (during the week). During the weekend, a minimum number of booked snowmobiles need not be reached.
Attention! You must arrive 30 minutes before the start time.
The centre has 7 snow mobiles for a maximum of 14 participants. One driver and one passenger may ride on each snowmobile, who may swap driving during the tour (if both have a B licence).
Dinner at the refuge usually takes place at the Rifugio Alpini Monte Cimosco in Gianico (BS) and includes a menu with starter, first and second course (drinks not included). Alternatively, dinner is at Dosso Rotondo where the menu includes a starter, cheese board, first course, second course and dessert (drinks not included).

Subject to availability, transport to the hut will be by snowmobile or snowcat.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
