Full description
Have you never visited the protected area of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park? What better occasion than taking part in a 4-hour snowshoe hike in the company of a certified hiking guide!
Put snowshoes on your feet and set off on an adventure: you will discover the scenic wonders of the area and have the chance to spot the local wild animals.
And, to top it all off, enjoy some warm mulled wine during a well-deserved scenic break. What are you waiting for?
What we will do
The starting point for our snow excursion will be either Pizzone (IS) or Alfedena (AQ). The choice will fall on one or the other location depending on snow conditions and will be communicated to you by the guide the day before the activity.
The snowshoe hi ke will take us on the tracks of the fauna of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park (the PNALM), in the presence of the imposing peaks of the Mainarde and Mount Meta, one of the highest peaks in the Apennines.
Snowshoes strapped to our feet, we will enter a fairytale landscape, surrounded by the unique atmosphere of the Valle Fiorita and Valle del Biscurri.
During the hike, we will have the chance to spot wild animals such as deer or chamois and to relax during a restful panoramic stop while sipping warm mulled wine.
The snowshoe hike will be between 3 and 7.5 km long, while the expected altitude difference will vary between 50 and 350 m, depending on the route chosen.
The activity has a total duration of 4 hours, including dressing, arrival and stops.
Who it is aimed at
The snow experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 10.
Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, while from the age of 15 onwards it will also be possible to participate alone with a release form signed by the parent.
Other information
The activity is available on Sundays from December to March and is confirmed with a minimum of 6 people.
The itinerary may vary according to weather and snow conditions at the organiser's discretion. The meeting point may be Pizzone or Alfedena and will be confirmed by the guide a day in advance depending on snow conditions.
For already formed groups of at least 6 persons, midweek trips can also be organised, subject to the guide's availability.
Dogs are not allowed.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
