Our recipe for happiness: a pair of snowshoes on your feet, snow around you. .. and a hike to Campo Felice, in the province of L'Aquila!
Experience nature in its most authentic dimension with a 4-hour snowshoe hike in the mountains of Abruzzo.
Among valleys and whitewashed beech forests, an 8 km walk in the company of a guide awaits you. To be tackled with a smile on your face!
What we will do
The meeting point is 15 minutes before 09: 30 at the meeting point in Lucoli (AQ) . Here we will meet our guide and the rest of the group and, after an introductory briefing, put on our snowshoes (included in the participation fee) and set off on our snowshoe hike in the mountains of Abruzzo.
We will walk for about an hour and a half on fresh snow, through small valleys and beech forests. Afterwards, we will resume our walk for another hour and a half, stopping off at the most beautiful and scenic spots to admire the splendid panorama and take souvenir photos.
During the walk we will take a break to refresh ourselves with our packed lunch. The route is 8 km and has an altitude difference of 250 metres, with easy paths suitable for everyone.
We will finally return to the meeting point at approximately 13: 30. The activity has a total duration of about 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for ages 8 and up. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for a first snowshoeing trip.
Other information
The snowshoe hike takes place on weekends from December to February and is confirmed with a minimum of 6 participants.
Dogs are allowed on the hike.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. Free parking is available on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
