Full description
Experience nature at its most authentic with a4-hour snowshoe hike in the mountains of Abruzzo.
Departing from Campo Felice, in the province of L'Aquila, you will walk along an 8 km trail through valleys and snow-covered beech forests. You will immerse yourself in theatmosphere of the mountains in winter and admire the splendid landscapes, before relaxing in a characteristic mountain hut in the area.

What we will do
The appointment is at 9.30 a.m. in Campo Felice, in the province of L'Aquila. Here we will meet the guide and the rest of the group and, after an introductory briefing, put on our snowshoes (included in the participation fee) and set off on our snowshoe hike in the mountains of Abruzzo.
We will walk for about an hour and a half on fresh snow, through small valleys and beech forests. Afterwards, we will continue our walk for another hour and a half, stopping at the most beautiful and scenic spots to admire the splendid panorama and take souvenir photos.
During the walk we will take a break to refresh ourselves with our packed lunch. The route is 8 km and has an altitude difference of 250 metres, with easy paths suitable for everyone.
Finally, we will return to Campo Felice at around 13:30. The activity has a total duration of about 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This snowshoe hike is of an easy level and is suitable for everyone from 8 years old. No technical expertise or specific skills are required.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time of the activity.
The snowshoe hike takes place on weekends from December to February, and is confirmed with a minimum of 6 participants.
Dogs are allowed on the hike.
