Join us for a4-hour snowshoe hike in the beautiful beech forest of the Monti Simbruini Regional Natural Park.
Starting from Livata, you will follow an easy 6 km route through the beech forest until you reach the summit of Monte Autore, enjoying the spectacular panorama.

What we will do
The meeting with the guide is at 9.30 am in front of the'Livata Café' bar in Livata, in the province of Rome.
Once the group is formed, the guide will hand out snowshoes and poles (included in the fee) and give a briefing on the itinerary and safety rules. Afterwards, we will be ready to set off on our excursion.
We will enter the splendid beech forest of the Monti Simbruini Regional Natural Park, surrounded by nature, peace and the silence of the mountains. The only noise we will hear will be that of our footsteps on the fresh snow.
We will walk at a leisurely pace along a route of around 6 km and 260 metres of altitude difference, until we reach the summit of Monte Autore, at an altitude of over 1,800 metres. Here we will take a break to enjoy the breathtaking 360-degree panorama of the surrounding mountains.
Afterwards, we will begin our descent back to the starting point. The activity will last about four hours.

This activity is at an easy level and is suitable for everyone from 12 years old and up.
Other information
This activity can be carried out on weekends from December to March, depending on snow and weather conditions, and is confirmed once 8 participants are reached.
Groups of at least 8 persons may request to carry out the activity also on weekdays. Please contact us for more information.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
