Immerse yourself in the suggestive atmosphere of the snow with asnowshoe hike in the Monti Sibillini National Park, in the area of Castelluccio di Norcia.
The Castelluccio plain, with its meadows filled with flowers in the summer season, turns into an immaculate expanse of snow in winter, and is ready to envelop you in its silence and magic.
In the company of a hiking guide, you will set off on a 3-hour snowshoe hike on a route suitable for everyone. Choose whether to do it during the day or in the evening and get ready to walk on fresh snow!
What we will do
We will meet the guide and the rest of the group in Norcia (PG) at 9.00 am. After handing out the snowshoes and the introductory briefing, we will set off by car to the start of the route chosen for the excursion, inside the Monti Sibillini National Park.
The snowshoeing route will be selected by the guide according to snow conditions. We can explore the area of Pantani di Accumoli and Forca Canapine or the area of Castelluccio di Norcia and Pian Perduto. In all cases, we will enjoy suggestive views and panoramas of the Sibillini Mountains and theUmbro-Marchigiano Apennines.
Depending on the route chosen, the snowshoe hike will vary in length from 5 to 7 km with modest elevation gain, for an easy experience suitable for all. In total, the activity will last about 3 hours.

This activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone from 7 years old and up (accompanied by an adult).

Attention. The meeting time is 9 a.m. (or 4 p.m.), and the snowshoe hike will start at approximately 9.30 a.m. (or 4.30 p.m.).
This activity can be carried out from December to March, depending on snow and weather conditions, and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants.
Snowshoes are included in the participation fee.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
