Have you ever seen Ivrea from the point of view of a wave? No? Then it's time to remedy the situation!
Climb aboard an inflatable boat and let yourself be carried away by the current of the Dora Baltea: in the company of a rafting guide, you will paddle through the waters of this historic river, discovering the Canavese territory from an unusual and spectacular perspective.
Arafting adventure suitable for everyone, perfect for those seeking the right mix of adrenaline, nature and fun!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point in Ivrea (TO), where we will receive the necessary equipment for the descent.
After changing and putting on the wetsuit, we will listen to an introductory briefing by our rafting guide, who will explain the basic techniques and safety rules.
Once we are ready, we will board a shuttle that will take us to the starting point on the river. Here we will board the raft and be ready to begin the adventure!
We will paddle on the Dora Baltea, facing small jumps, bends and rapids with the constant support of our guide, who will give us the right directions to handle each situation.
It will be a peaceful descent, in which we will also have time to enjoy the natural beauty that surrounds us and the panorama of the city of Ivrea.
After about 1 hour and 20 minutes of descent, we will reach the arrival point at our base.
The whole experience will last approximately 2½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 6 years of age; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult during the experience.
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for a first rafting experience.
Basic water skills are required to participate.
Other information
The activity takes place from April to October and is confirmed when there are at least 6 participants.
Attention! The use of eyeglasses is not recommended during the activity, so contact lenses are recommended.
The rafting centre has changing rooms with showers and toilets. Personal belongings can be stored in a guarded common storage room.
Any accompanying persons can wait at the meeting point where there is a playground, an equipped outdoor area and a bar.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
