Come and experience the incredible sensation of walking on water!
After having enchanted the beaches of half the world, Stand Up Paddle (SUP) is now also arriving in Italy.
This ancient discipline, already practised thousands of years ago by Polynesians in Hawaii, and ancestor of wave surfing, is now one of the emerging sports. It combines the classic surfboard (longboard type) with a special single paddle.
It is a perfect meeting point between surfing and canoeing, the right mix of balance and healthy motor activity. For those who want to keep fit on the beach and in their free time, a complete workout for shoulders, abdominals, arms and especially back muscles (in America it is even used in physiotherapy!).

What we will do
The course takes place from May to October in a group of up to 20 participants and is divided into 4 phases:
- Introduction to Stand Up Paddle. The lesson will begin with a short theory part on the simulator on the beach, in order to learn what will then be tried out and brought back into the water.
- Dressing. We will then prepare the equipment, and begin dressing. Everyone will be provided with a wetsuit, booties, and a life jacket.
- Weenter the water. Everyone, with their previously assigned equipment, will enter the water and begin paddling, supported by the instructor.
- Return. At the end of the 2 hours, we return to the base.
Who it is aimed at
SUP is suitable for anyone (from the age of 10) in good health.
No special physical condition is required, only a minimum of aquatic ability is required, i.e. you do not need to be an expert swimmer, but at least know how to stay afloat. A life jacket is provided.
Other information
Before the start of the course, a disclaimer of liability and a declaration of good health will be signed. Minors, who must be accompanied by their parents or guardians, will sign the latter.
Due to wind conditions, the course can only be held in the morning. In the event of bad weather or adverse conditions, the course will be postponed.
At the end of the activity, changing rooms and showers will be available at the SUP centre.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
