Night in a malga + horse + typical dinner = the mathematics of happiness!
Enjoy a one-night stay in a beautiful malga at 1, 600 metres in Val Visdende, in the province of Belluno. You will experience the flavours of local products thanks to an included dinner and breakfast.
Finally, you will add a dash of adventure to the experience with a magnificent horseback ride on the trails of Comelico Bellunese. Don't miss this opportunity!
What we will do
The appointment is at the malga in Santo Stefano di Cadore (BL), where you can check in from 17: 00.
You will stay in a simple but cosy room, which recalls the mountain style and is located on the first floor. The room has a bedroom with twin beds, a private en suite bathroom with shower, a hairdryer (on request) , a wardrobe, bed linen and towels and free Wi-Fi.
There is an in-house restaurant, where you will have dinner included in your stay. The complete menu (starter, first course, second course and dessert) will vary according to the season but will always offer home-made dishes with local products (eggs, meat, vegetables, cheese, oil and bread) . Water, coffee and a bottle of wine or a litre of farm-produced beer will be included while the rest of the drinks can be requested and paid for on site.
During your stay, you will also have the opportunity to enjoy a 1. 5-hour horseback ride, to be taken at a time to be agreed upon directly with the hotel. The hike will start in the vicinity of the hut or, in some cases, from a nearby location that you can reach by car (approx. 30 minutes by car) . Either way, you will tackle a route of about 4 km along the forest paths of Comelico Bellunese. You will proceed at your own pace and admire the beauty of the surrounding nature while your guide explains some curiosities about the area.
The following morning, you will enjoy a rich breakfast (sweet or savoury) , prepared with locally produced ingredients, such as yoghurt, cheese, cold meats, eggs, butter, jams and biscuits. With so many delicacies, you can only end your stay with a smile on your face!

The facility is not accessible to wheelchair users or those with walking difficulties.
The horseback ride is suitable for everyone, including beginners. The maximum weight for participation is 90 kg.

The experience is available all year round, except in March and November. Check-in will be possible from 17: 00 while check-out must be done no later than 10: 00.

The route of the horse ride is adaptable to the level of the participants. Saddles for American and English riding are available.

What happens in case of bad weather?
The experiences included in the stay plus experience packages are subject to weather conditions. If the experience cannot take place due to bad weather or other causes of force majeure, you can choose between a refund for the experience that did not take place or rescheduling the activity for another date (if available). However, the stay cannot be refunded or rescheduled if the terms of the package cancellation policy have already expired.
Can I change the date selected for my stay?
