Have you ever felt like stepping back in time. .. but really?
On this 1-night stay for 2 people in Barbarano Romano you will sleep in a albergo diffuso, in the heart of a village where time seems to slow down.
Then saddle up for a horseback ride along the Etruscan trails in Vetralla, guided by someone who knows every wood and every legend in Tuscia!
What we will do
Check-in is from 12 noon at the Albergo Diffuso in Barbarano Romano (VT). On arrival you will be welcomed by the staff and taken to your accommodation.
You will stay in a double room or in a flat of the albergo diffuso, inside the historic village: each space is furnished with antique furniture and authentic details, equipped with all essential comforts. You will find a double or twin bed, private bathroom with shower, courtesy kit, hairdryer, heating, wardrobe, desk and free Wi-Fi. Some solutions may include a kitchenette.
In the morning, an American-style breakfast awaits you at the inn, with both savoury and sweet options, such as bacon and eggs, cold meats, croissants and homemade cakes.
The horseback ride can be done on the day of arrival or the day of departure, agreeing the time with the guide after the booking confirmation. The appointment will be in Vetralla, where the equestrian guide will welcome you and hand over your equipment.
After an introduction of about 15 minutes, you will mount your saddle and begin your adventure: a 1-hour ride through wooded paths on the trail of the ancient Etruscans. On the way, you can admire places set in the rock such as the Church of the Madonna della Folgore, the Temple of Demeter, and typical Tuscia sights.

The experience is intended for 2 persons over 18 years of age.
The facility is not wheelchair accessible.
A maximum weight of 90 kg is required to participate in the ride. The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.

The experience takes place all year round. Check-in is from 12 noon, check-out by 10 a. m.

The horseback ride may be shared with other participants. It is possible to wear a small backpack during the hike. Any large bags and backpacks will be left in the riding stables for safekeeping.
Dogs are not allowed.
There is a restaurant at the albergo diffuso, with a set menu or à la carte. Options are available for people with food allergies and intolerances: please contact the hotel at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to communicate any dietary requirements.
The tourist tax of 1€ per person, payable locally, is not included in the price.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
The experiences included in the stay plus experience packages are subject to weather conditions. If the experience cannot take place due to bad weather or other causes of force majeure, you can choose between a refund for the experience that did not take place or rescheduling the activity for another date (if available). However, the stay cannot be refunded or rescheduled if the terms of the package cancellation policy have already expired.
Can I change the date selected for my stay?
