In Apollosa, a one-night stay in a cosy B& B just a stone's throw from a historic wine cellar awaits you. You can lose yourself between the rows of vines with a guided tour of the organic vineyards, discover the secrets of wine-making, and delight yourself with a tasting of wines and typical products.
In the morning, a genuine breakfast will make your awakening unforgettable, in an authentic and refined atmosphere.
What we will do
Check-in is from 17: 00 at Cantina Francesca in Apollosa, in the province of Benevento. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the staff and escorted to your accommodation, located in a cosy B& B just a 3-minute walk from the meeting point. The well-appointed rooms will offer you every modern comfort including air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a handy fridge for your needs.
Included in your stay is a guided tour through the organic vineyards of Cantina Francesca. Together with a guide, you will discover the grape processing cycle and enter the cellar to take a closer look at every stage of the winemaking process, from the machinery to the tanks.
The highlight will be the tasting of three wines, which you can customise to your taste by choosing from the six house labels, such as Coda di Volpe or Falanghina. Everything will be accompanied by a rich platter of typical Sannio products, including aged cheeses, local hams, fresh bread and crunchy taralli, to be enjoyed in the dining room or on the beautiful outdoor terrace.
If you would like to make your stay even more special, you can arrange for lunch or dinner (not included) at the winery restaurant, savouring dishes that celebrate the local tradition. You can choose whether to have the tasting activity on the day of your arrival or the following morning, agreeing the exact time directly with the organisers after confirmation.
In the morning, a tasty breakfast is included to start your day with the right energy, surrounded by the quietness of the Caudina Valley.

The living room is designed for 2 adults. It is possible to request an extra bed for children (price on request) , but please note that no cots or changing tables are available.

The experience is available all year round. Check-in is from 17: 00 until 19: 00.

Dogs are not allowed on the premises or in the tasting areas. Please also note that smoking is not permitted in all accommodation.
The facility is not easily accessible by public transport, so it is necessary to use your own means of transport to reach your destination. There is free parking on site for guests.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
