Who said that time machines don't exist?
We found one in Escolca, in the heart of the Sardinian hinterland: it is shaped like a vintage caravan and will catapult you straight back to the 1970s!
Of course, you can sleep in it, but what will make your stay really special are the flavours of Sardinia: an oil tasting at an olive oil mill, a picnic at sunset among the olive trees, and, when you wake up, a breakfast with typical products. .. all included!
What we will do
The appointment is at 17: 00 directly at the oil mill in Escolca (SU) .
You will be welcomed by a guide who will introduce you to the family history of the oil mill, through a tour of the production plant. You will discover how a quality oil is made: from the olive harvest to packaging, passing through the selection of local varieties and preservation methods. The visit, which lasts about 1 hour, will end with a professional tasting, where you will sample the extra virgin olive oil produced at the mill.
Afterwards, you will move on to your accommodation. Check-in time is around 18: 00.
You will then be taken to your vintage caravan, a lovingly restored retro-style caravan surrounded by greenery. Inside you will find a double bed with linen included and a bathroom; there is no electricity, but there is solar lighting. Outside you will find a lovely corner with a dining table, towels and pillows for relaxing moments and a sun shower.
Around sunset time, you will be given a picnic basket inside which you will find Sardinian specialities combined with fine aromatic EVO oils and a bottle of wine. You can enjoy your dinner among the olive trees, amidst the scents and silence of the Mediterranean maquis.
The following morning, you can enjoy a breakfast with local products before checking out by 10: 00 am.
If you wish, you can choose to visit the oil mill the following morning instead of the afternoon.

The experience is designed for 2 adults; however, the caravan can accommodate up to 4 people: contact us for a customised quote (children 0-7 years old are free) .
The facility is not wheelchair-accessible.

The stay is bookable from April to September, every day except Wednesday.

Dogs are allowed.

The property is difficult to reach by public transport; free parking is available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
