Farm stay in the Moro Lake Park and horse riding

If you need a good reason to escape from the city, the Parco del Lago Moro gives you at least three: a night on a farm, an exclusive horseback ride and a snack with farm produce.

You'll stay in a cosy room overlooking Lake Moro, perfect for slowing down the pace. Then comes the best part: you prepare your horse together with your guide, learn the basics in a few minutes and set off for an hour's ride surrounded by nature.

And yes, the finale is the right one: an outdoor snack with genuine products, prepared especially for you.

What we will do

Check-in is between 14: 00 and 18: 00 at the farmhouse in Angolo Terme (BS) immersed in the nature of the Moro Lake Park. Your room, recently renovated, is equipped with private bathroom, minibar, TV, Wi-Fi, kettle, toiletries, hairdryer, independent heating and an outdoor patio where you can relax with the view of Lake Moro.

In agreement with the hotel, you can choose whether to take the exclusive horseback ride on the day of your arrival or the following day. Once you reach the meeting point on the farm, you will meet the equestrian guide who will accompany you throughout the experience.

You will start by preparing the horses: about 20 minutes dedicated to cleaning, saddling and first contacts to create a connection with the animal. This will be followed by about 15 minutes of basic horsemanship knowledge, useful for approaching the walk in total serenity.

Then it's off: the horseback ride will last about 1 hour, along mule tracks, paved roads, views of Lake Moro and, on clear days, views as far as Lake Iseo. The guide will recount curiosities and legends of the area, from the history of Lake Moro to the UNESCO rock engravings of the Camonica Valley.

On your return to the agritourism, a farmhouse snack will await you, with products from the farm: jams, sweet and sour vegetables, cold meats and/or cheeses, perfect to end the experience with taste and tranquillity.

The stay is overnight only, but you can choose to have breakfast, lunch or dinner at the adjacent bar/restaurant.

Check-out is between 8: 00 and 10: 30.

Who it is aimed at

It is intended for 2 persons over 18 years of age.

The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride; a weight of less than 100 kg is required to participate.

There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
