All topped off with a veil of Sugar and Cinnamon: this is the name of the skipper 's sailboat that will keep you company on this 3-hour excursion along the Roman coastline.
What we will do
The rendezvous is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in the tourist port of Rome in Ostia (RM), where the skipper will be waiting to welcome us on board the sailing boat Zucchero e Cannella!
Once all participants have gathered, we will hoist the sails and be ready to set sail. We will then begin a relaxing sail along the Roman coastline, between Ostia and Fiumicino, while the sea will begin to take on a silvery hue.
During the excursion, we will have the choice of enjoying the view, or joining the skipper during manoeuvres and thus gaining some sailing knowledge.
Depending on the conditions of the day, we will then stop at a point along the coast for the much-awaited aperitif on board! The skipper will serve us snacks and chips accompanied by a bottle of prosecco: the perfect combination for a toast at sunset!
We will finally return to our starting point after about 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone with no age limit; children under 18 must be accompanied on board by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair-accessible, but people with reduced mobility are welcome on board: please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to report your presence and request boarding support.
Other information
Attention. The departure time is approximate and may vary depending on weather and sea conditions and the skipper's judgement. The boat will leave the moorings no later than 15 minutes after the agreed time, in case of no-show due to delay the experience will not be refunded.
The experience takes place all year round with the exception of August and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
Theboat is a Sun Odyssey 37 sailing boat named "Zucchero&Cannella" with 3 double cabins, toilet, kitchen with dinette, sunbathing area, awning and hot and cold fresh water shower. Clean boat shoes are allowed on board or you can go barefoot. Dogs are not allowed on board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
