The ingredients for the perfect aperitif?

All topped off with a sprinkling of ‘Zucchero e Cannella’: this is the name of the skipper ’s sailing boat , which will accompany you on this two-and-a-half-hour excursion along the Roman coastline.
What we will do
We’ll meet 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Rome’s marina in Ostia (RM), where the skipper will be waiting to welcome us aboard the sailing boat ‘Zucchero e Cannella’!
Once all participants have gathered, we’ll hoist the sails and be ready to set sail. We’ll then begin a relaxing sail along the Roman coastline, between Ostia and Fiumicino, whilst the sea begins to take on silvery hues.
During the trip, we can choose whether to simply enjoy the view or assist the skipper with the sailing manoeuvres and pick up a few basics of sailing ( there’s no stop for a swim during the tour) .
Depending on the weather conditions, we’ll then stop at a spot along the coast for the much-anticipated aperitif on board! The skipper will serve us a bottle of sparkling wine with crisps: the perfect combination for a toast as the sun sets!
Finally, we’ll return to the starting point after about two and a half hours.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions; children under 16 must be accompanied on board by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible, but people with reduced mobility are welcome on board: please contact the organiser using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email to let them know you will be attending and to request assistance with boarding.
Other information
Please note! The departure time is approximate and may be subject to change depending on weather and sea conditions and at the skipper’s discretion. The boat will set sail no later than 15 minutes after the agreed time; if you fail to turn up due to being late, the experience will not be refunded.
The experience runs all year round except in August and is confirmed once a minimum of 4 participants has been reached.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point is accessible by public transport.
The vessel is a Sun Odyssey 37 sailing yacht named ‘Zucchero& Cannella’, equipped with 3 double cabins, a toilet, a galley with dinette, a sun deck, an awning and a freshwater shower with hot and cold water. Clean sailing shoes or trainers are permitted on board (no boots or heels) , or you may go barefoot. Dogs are not permitted on board.
In the event of food allergies and/or intolerances, no alternative options are available, but you may bring your own food or drinks on board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
