If you think the sunset in Sicily is spectacular enough, experience it from the sea!
Set off from Giardini-Naxos on a boat tour along the Sicilian coast. Sail towards Taormina, taking a dip and admiring the caves and views whilst keeping an eye out for dolphins.
On your return, an aperitif at sunset awaits you, featuring prosecco, almond wine and Sicilian snacks!
What we will do
We’ll meet 15 minutes before the scheduled time at the meeting point in Giardini-Naxos (ME). There, we’ll meet the skipper, who will welcome us on board and accompany us on this sunset cruise along the east coast of Sicily.
Once on board, we’ll leave the harbour and set sail towards the bays of Naxos and Taormina. During the journey, the skipper will share interesting facts and anecdotes about the places we’ll be admiring from the sea, making the trip even more enjoyable.
We’ll sail along some of the most picturesque stretches of the coastline, passing by sea caves, inlets and the natural scenery that characterises this part of the Sicilian coast. There won’t be any lengthy stops at the various points of interest, but we’ll get a close-up view of them.
After a brief stop to cool off with a swim in the magnificent waters of the area, we’ll set sail again, heading about 2 miles out to sea, where the most exciting part of the experience begins: searching for dolphins in their natural habitat. With a bit of luck, we’ll be able to watch these splendid cetaceans breach the surface!
During the tour, we’ll be served an aperitif (included) featuring prosecco, almond wine, savoury snacks and traditional Sicilian rotisserie dishes, to be enjoyed as the sun sets over the sea.
At the end of the excursion, we’ll return to the port of departure in Giardini-Naxos.
The experience will last a total of approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for everyone, with no age restrictions. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The experience is not wheelchair accessible, but people with reduced mobility are welcome on board. Please let us know if this applies to you using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email.

The trip takes place from June to August.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions, at the captain’s discretion.
The vessel used is an open-deck boat of approximately 10 metres, equipped with a spacious sun deck at the bow, cushions, a sun awning, an Igloo fridge, toilets, a stereo and a boarding ladder. You must remain barefoot on board.
No alternative options are available for the aperitif in the event of food allergies or intolerances.
Dogs are not permitted on board. Only small dogs may be brought on board in a suitable carrier.
There is a pay-and-display car park on site. The meeting point is accessible by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
