You only ever see a sunset like this in the cinema! But if you hop on board with us , we’ll take you to see it in the flesh. ..
Join us on a 2-hourboat trip in Taormina at the most magical time of day: sail between Isola Bella and the coastal caves, then head out to sea in search of dolphins.
When you spot them, raise your glass and celebrate with a toast!
What we will do
We’ll meet 10 minutes before departure at the meeting point in Taormina (ME), in the hamlet of Mazzarò. We’ll meet the skipper and have a brief introductory briefing before boarding our boat.
We’ll then set sail to explore the coastal wonders of eastern Sicily. During the trip, we’ll see a number of sea caves, including the famous Grotta Azzurra. The skipper will tell us about the history, secrets and geology of these natural caverns.
We’ll sail along the coast of Isola Bella and head towards Capo Taormina, an area famous for being the filming location of the well-known TV series *The White Lotus*. Depending on the weather and sea conditions on the day, we’ll make between 2 and 3 stops for swimming and snorkelling, each lasting around 15–20 minutes, using the equipment provided on board.
After Capo Taormina, we’ll head out to sea to try and spot dolphins in their natural habitat. As these are wild animals, dolphin sightings cannot be 100% guaranteed, but the sunset period is the best time to spot them.
Whilst we wait and sail, the skipper will serve a glass of prosecco to the adults and soft drinks or water to the children for a sunset toast.
We’ll return to port after a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for everyone aged 3 and over. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The experience is not suitable for people with reduced mobility, and the boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
This activity is available from April to October. The tour is confirmed subject to a minimum of 2 participants.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The boat used is a fibreglass motorboat, fitted with an awning and cushions. You must remove your shoes whilst on board.
Dogs are not permitted on board.
The meeting point is easily accessible by public transport. There are paid public car parks in the area.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
