Experience the extraordinary thrill of a hot-air balloon flight, let the wind carry you away and look out from the wicker basket to admire the world from above.
With a hot-air balloon flight in Reggio Emilia, you will fly over the capital of Emilia at sunset, when the surrounding countryside and mountains are tinged with warm hues.
A hot-air balloon flight is an experience you should try at least once in your life. You will rely on our expert pilots to fly in total comfort and safety and, once you get your feet back on the ground, you will can't wait to leave!
What we will do
We will meet about 2 hours before sunset in Reggio Emilia, at a take-off point to be chosen by the pilot according to the wind conditions of the day (the exact address will be provided the day before the activity). Once at the site, we will have the opportunity to follow the crew during the preparation phases of the hot air balloon, culminating with the large flame coming from the burner, which has the task of heating the air inside the balloon and getting it off the ground.
After take-off, we rely totally on the wind: it is the updrafts that decide the balloon's path. On board the wicker basket, we will admire the landscape at 360°: from the crops of the plains to the Apennines, with the possibility of spotting numerous wild animals.
The hot air balloon flight lasts about one hour and ends with a landing at a different point from the take-off point. When we descend from the basket, an organiser's vehicle will be waiting for us to take us back to the initial meeting point. Considering travel and preparation time, the activity has a total duration of about 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
Flying in a hot-air balloon is suitable for everyone, you can fly from 8 years of age up wards and with a minimum height of 120 cm. The only restrictions are for pregnant women and people with serious heart problems or limited mobility in their lower limbs.

Attention. You must arrive at the meeting point approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Important: flight times vary depending on the time of year and weather conditions, as does the take-off point in exceptional cases. A few days before the activity you will receive an email from the pilot confirming the time and address. Always check the email before leaving! If you have not received a message, please contact the pilot by phone at the contact details given in your booking confirmation.
The activity takes place on the dates indicated in the calendar and is confirmed when there are at least 6 participants.

Comfortable, seasonal clothing (in flight, the temperature does not vary significantly from the ground but it is always recommended to dress in layers)

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
