Has the classic Milanese aperitif tired you out? Come to Vigevano and turn your next happy hour into an adventure to remember!
We are waiting for you for a fantastic rafting experience on the Ticino river at sunset: you will paddle for 2 hours together with an expert guide along the river's calm current, and then land on a beach where a gourmet aperitif will be served.
To make it all even more magical, the rich nature of the Parco Lombardo della Valle del Ticino and the view of Monte Rosa as a backdrop!
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Vigevano (PV), 10 minutes before the start time.
Here we will receive the necessary equipment and take part in a briefing with the guide, who will explain the basic techniques of rafting and how to behave in the water.
We will set off from the hydroelectric power station in Vigevano to discoverthe Ticino river, paddling in a unique atmosphere, amidst the colours of twilight. Monte Rosa will be the backdrop to our route, and, with a bit of luck, we will be able to spot roe deer, fallow deer and other animals approaching the river to water.
During the descent, the guide will tell us interesting facts about this area, immersing us in the unspoilt beauty of the Ticino and appreciating its biodiversity. We will then land on a beach by the river, where we can enjoy an aperitif of local products such as Mortara goose salami and Cameri gorgonzola, all accompanied by an excellent prosecco.
After about 2 hours of activity in the water , and with the aperitif finished, we will return to the meeting point in the guide's minibus. The activity will last about 3 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from the age of 18.
It is not necessary to know how to swim. People with physical or intellectual disabilities may also participate, provided they are accompanied.
The maximum weight per person is 120 kg.
Other information
The experience is available from Fridays to Sundays, from April to July and from September to October , and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 6 participants.
Inflatable rafts are used for the descent and can accommodate up to 14 participants.
There are toilets, changing rooms, outdoor showers and a storage room for personal belongings at the meeting point.
Alternatives for people with allergies and/or food intolerances are not guaranteed in this activity.
Dogs are allowed to participate in this activity, but it is necessary to inform the guide of their presence in advance to verify acceptance by the entire crew. Life jackets for dogs are available for hire on site at a cost of €10.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport; there is free parking on site.
