Full description
Get up from your desk, it's time to walk! If you are looking for an idea for an original evening around Ivrea, join this sunset trekking tour through the hills of Canavese.
The one-and-a-half hour walk in the company of a hiking guide will take you to discover some of the most peculiar places of this territory, such as the Erbaluce vineyards in the Ivrea moraine greenhouse.
At the end of the activity, you can continue the evening with an aperitif in one of the many small restaurants and wine cellars in the area, to transform your excursion into a pleasant "AperiWalk".
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point announced by the guide, in time to admire the sunset over the Canavese hills.
Our route will take us to walk in the wine-growing area of the Ivrea moraine, among the Erbaluce vineyards. During the walk, we will be able to enjoy the view of Lake Viverone, the third largest in Piedmont, and we will hear many stories and curiosities about this area from the guide.
The route is about 3 km long, with a maximum height difference of 100 m. At the end of the activity, those who wish can stop in the area for an aperitif of wine and local products (not included in the cost of the activity).
The itinerary is subject to change: the guide may propose a different route remaining within a few kilometres of Ivrea, for example in the Cinque Laghi area or among the "balmetti" of Borgofranco.
The duration of the trek will be about one and a half hours.

The activity is available from March to May and is confirmed with a minimum number of 6 participants.
