Full description
Learn to ride a SUP with a 1-hour individual lesson. Together with an experienced instructor, in the beautiful setting of Salento's beaches, you will learn the basic techniques of Stand Up Paddleboarding.
This is a water sport suitable for everyone and involves standing on a board using a paddle. It is a fun activity that will make you experience the sea from a new perspective.
Whether you are a neophyte or a practitioner who wants to improve your technique, you will have thecomplete equipment and an instructor at your disposal.
What we will do
The activity takes place on the beach at Fontanelle, in Ugento (LE). The instructor will welcome you, hand you theequipment, and introduce you to the world of SUP with a short theory lesson before moving straight on to the practical part.
You will begin with a series of exercises on land, which will help you get used to holding the correct position on the board and learning the right movements for smooth and efficient paddling. After that, you'll get into the swing of things with yourentry into the water.
At first you will find it very difficult to keep yourbalance on the board, so you might start paddling while kneeling. Then it will be time to stand up and feel the waves beneath you as you begin to move away from the shore, always under thewatchful eye of the instructor.
If you have already had basic SUP lessons and want to improve your technique, the lesson plan will be tailored to your needs and goals.
The activity lasts a total of 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level, is open to everyone from 6 years old upwards and is adaptable to the level of the participant.

Attention! Please arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes in advance.
This activity is individual and can be carried out, subject to availability, from April to September.
Equipment is included in the price for the duration of the lesson. If you want to continue practising on the SUP after the lesson, you can rent a board, paddle and life jacket for 15€ per hour.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
