Come and try SUP, one of the most fun water sports!
Under the expert guidance of Angelo, a certified instructor and winner of numerous awards, you will discover how to master the board and paddle to "walk" on the water of Lake Trasimeno in Umbria, while admiringIsola Polvese in the distance.
It will be a 1½-hour lesson, at the end of which you will definitely want to get back on your Stand Up Paddle.
What we will do
We’ll meet in Tuoro sul Trasimeno (PG), 15 minutes before the lesson starts.
Angelo, an ISA/FISW-certified instructor and three-time Italian SUP race champion, will be there to welcome us. We’ll start with a 15-minute theory session on dry land, during which he’ll explain the main techniques of this sport.
After that, we’ll begin the one-hour session on the water to learn how to stand-up paddle and paddle on Lake Trasimeno. With a spectacular view of the small Polvese Island in the distance, we’ll find the correct standing position on the board, learn to maintain our balance and move fluidly with the paddle, gradually gaining more and more independence.
The lesson will last a total of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The course is suitable for everyone from the age of 12. Minors may participate alone.
No experience is required and it is not necessary to know how to swim. The maximum permitted weight is 130 kg.
Other information
The activity is available all year round.
The instructor, in his or her sole discretion, will assess the feasibility of the experience depending on the weather conditions.
The facility where the lesson takes place is only open from June to August, with the possibility of using the showers. During the other months, however, it is possible to store personal belongings in a secure area and to carry your phone and wallet inside a waterproof bag (on request).
A wetsuit is only provided in the colder months: the instructor will contact you to ask for the size.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport; there is free parking on site.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
