Learning the basics of Stand Up Paddle is simple, fun and surprisingly relaxing. In a 2-hour lesson with an experienced instructor , you will test yourself with paddle and board in the calm waves of Salento.
Falling is allowed. Laughing, compulsory!
What we will do
The meeting point is 20 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in San Cataldo (LE).
Here we will find our instructor, ready to welcome us and provide us with everything we need: SUP board, paddle, leash, life jacket and, if necessary, wetsuit.
We will begin with a20-minute introduction on land to learn the basics: how to get on the board, find balance, paddle correctly and stay on course.
Then we will enter the water for simple, circumscribed sailing so that we become familiar with the movements. Depending on our skills, the instructor may propose a final part in 'mini-hike' mode, exploring a stretch of coastline to Hadrian's Wharf.
Otherwise, we will continue with technical exercises always in the water, improving posture, balance and rhythm.
The activity will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable from the age of 10. Minors must be accompanied on site by a responsible adult.

The activity is not suitable for people with back problems.
The weight per participant must not exceed 100 kg.

The activity takes place all year round.
Changing rooms, showers and storage space for personal belongings are available at the centre.
