Full description
Discover the thrill of SUP riding with a 2-hour lesson on the beautiful San Leone coast of Agrigento. Together with an experienced instructor, you will learn how to get on the SUP board, keep your balance, paddle and enter the water correctly.
In short, you will get to know the basics of this sport and immediately understand how fun and exciting it can be, thanks also to the spectacular sea of the Agrigento coastline.
What we will do
We will meet on the beach at San Leone, where theinstructor will be waiting for us with all the equipment for the lesson. We will immediately board the van that will take us to the location chosen for the activity, which may vary depending on weather conditions and the season.
Once we arrive at our destination, we will break the ice by doing some preparatory stretching. We will do a series of simple exercises to prepare our bodies for physical activity. After that, we will begin the actual lesson.
We will learn how to get on the SUP board and how to maintain balance. Not only that, the instructor will show us the correct way to move around using the paddle and how to enter the water. Within a short time we will be paddling in the blue sea along the Agrigento coastline, appreciating the view from a surprising perspective.
After finishing the lesson, we will re-board the van to return to our starting point, where we will have both the changing rooms and the coin-operated showers at the nearby campsite at our disposal.
The activity will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is aimed at everyone from 6 years of age. Up to the age of 12, the presence of a parent is required.
It is not necessary to have previous SUP experience or to know how to swim, but good water skills are required.
Other information
Lessons are held all year round, every day, subject to weather and sea conditions.
When booking, you can choose between different packages: '1 lesson', '2 lessons' or '3 lessons'. In the case of packages of several lessons, these may be held on consecutive or non-consecutive days, depending on the arrangements made with the organiser.
At the end of the activity, participants will be provided with changing rooms and showers at the nearby campsite.
Reduced rates are available for families of 2 adults and 2 children under 12 (120€ for 1 lesson): contact us to book your family package.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
