Full description
Practice stand-up paddleboarding in the crystal-clear waters of the Gulf of Marinella on the Costa Smeralda, just a few kilometres from Olbia and Porto Rotondo.
With a paddle and SUP board, you can enjoy magnificent scenic excursions, reach hidden beaches, and spend fun and relaxing moments at sea.
With one or more individual private lessons together with an experienced instructor you will learn how to paddle safely and correctly. Choose whether to book a single 1-hour lesson or a package of 3.
What we will do
You will meet your instructor at the surf school on Marinella beach, near Olbia, Porto Rotondo and Golfo Aranci. Having handed over your SUP board and all the equipment, you will be ready to begin.
If you have never been SUP riding before, probably the hardest part will be balancing standing on the board. Therefore, beginners will start by paddling in a kneeling position until they get used to the instability of the water.
The instructor will teach you the correct positions and movements for smooth and efficient paddling, take you to the most beautiful spots in the Gulf of Marinella , and teach you how to recognise sea conditions so that you can safely go out on a SUP when you are on your own.
When booking, you can choose either a 1-hour single lesson or a 3-lesson package.
Who it is aimed at
Private SUP lessons are open to participants of any level, aged 5 and up. Swimming skills are compulsory.
Other information
This activity is bookable from April to October, subject to weather conditions.
If you purchase the 3-lesson package, you will agree on the date and time each time.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
